Compliance
IDROVELOX by Petrelli Franco & Sons S.r.l. (hereinafter also referred to as IDROVELOX or the Company) is a company based in the province of Lecce that has been operating since 1986 in the environmental sector, offering a range of services dedicated to ecological sustainability.
Originally a small local enterprise, over the years it has grown steadily through investments in new equipment and by securing several contracts thanks to the professional and innovative approach that has always distinguished IDROVELOX’s operations.
For the past twenty-seven years, the company has been managed by the same family: two generations committed to industrial activity and to the careful management of clients, with great attention to people’s needs and those of the various stakeholders, while consistently upholding the highest professional standards.
Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the company provides waste collection, transportation, and disposal services at every level, always in full compliance with sector legislation and best environmental practices.
Teamwork and the proper implementation of management systems have enabled IDROVELOX to obtain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
In light of the above, this Code of Ethics (hereinafter also referred to as the Code) has been adopted. It contains a set of behavioral principles whose observance by all recipients is of fundamental importance — also pursuant to the legal and contractual provisions governing relationships with the Company, including compliance with the Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, of which this Code of Ethics constitutes an integral part — for the efficiency, reliability, and reputation of IDROVELOX.
The recipients of the principles contained in this Code are:
- The Shareholders in the Shareholders’ Meeting;
- The Sole Director, the Statutory Auditor, and the Supervisory Body (Organismo di Vigilanza) pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 (hereinafter also referred to as OdV);
- All employees, interns, and collaborators with whom the Company maintains contractual relationships, including temporary and/or occasional ones;
- All third parties who have any form of relationship with the Company (e.g., suppliers, partners, intermediaries, etc.).
Within IDROVELOX’s internal control system, the Code of Ethics represents a key instrument for managing ethical conduct in industrial activities, alongside applicable laws and contractual obligations. Therefore, all activities carried out by or on behalf of the Company must be consistent with the principles and rules established in this Code.
Within this framework, it is the responsibility of IDROVELOX to:
- Disseminate knowledge of the Code of Ethics among all recipients;
- Evaluate any suggestions or proposals for modification and/or integration of the Code submitted by recipients, with the aim of updating or improving its content;
- Monitor compliance with the Code by implementing appropriate information, prevention, and control procedures, and by taking corrective actions where necessary.
Conversely, it is the responsibility of the recipients to:
- Uphold the principles outlined in the Code of Ethics as guiding values for their activities;
- Within their respective roles, propose suggestions for the integration and/or amendment of the Code;
- Report any violations of the Code to the Supervisory Body (OdV).
Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01
Whistleblowing
The whistleblowing procedure governs the submission and management of reports with the aim of:
- Supporting the Company in the effective management of any conduct that is contrary to corporate ethical standards or to applicable laws and regulations;
- Ensuring adequate protection for both the reporting person (the so-called whistleblower) and the reported person;
- Encouraging the use of whistleblowing and promoting its correct and responsible application;
- Providing the whistleblower with clear operational guidance on how to use the reporting platform, while also highlighting the legal protections offered under current legislation.
To achieve these objectives, IDROVELOX is committed to removing any factors that might hinder or discourage the use of the whistleblowing system by individuals who, within their work environment, become aware of unlawful conduct or other violations covered by the relevant legislation but fail to report them due to fear of retaliation or uncertainty about the proper reporting procedures.
Before proceeding, we invite you to read the Guidelines for Reporting Unlawful Conduct.
